From Folk to Rock, flirting with Country, Blues and just the right dose of darkness, the one that makes you smile, The Doc Foster Band has many ways to express its identity. Maik Hummel, his brother Jakob and their fellows Steven Krokodil & Erik Dinosaurier used be part of a film group in 2008 when they decided to trade picture for sound and create the Doc Foster Band. Highly respected by the Leipziger music scene, the Docs have proved their experience by making their dark magic operate when they hit the stages around the city and across Germany.

The Band released their first (self-titled) album in 2009, followed by the excellent self-produced "Wail Like Spectres" in 2010. Their third album gently titled "Wolf" has been released on the 3rd of May 2011.
